Finding Ukraine’s Stolen Children

Finding Ukraine’s Stolen Children

Since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia, over 20,000 children have been illegally deported to Russia. However, Ukraine estimates that the true number of children could be much higher. As Ukraine faces an uncertain future, their mission to find and locate these children is intensifying, and Paliscope is contributing to that mission.

For a year, Paliscope has been directly supporting Ukrainian police and security forces by helping them find and locate children by using our technology for face-matching purposes. So far, we have identified and located 86 children based on high probability face matching.

In this webinar, Joseph Jones, will demonstrate how our software is being used to visually identify Ukrainian children using Paliscope Explore, the findings of which are recorded in Paliscope Build.
